Program proposal for the renovation of the square
The historical division into Upper and Lower Squares is retained. In the central part a market is proposed with the modernization of the Prior. The residence parterre at the facades of the houses is extended, the original historic paving is relaid in steps and trees are added to the avenue. Pedestrian and bicycle accessibility is preferred with traffic control. Public transport will be moved to the historic tram track and will connect Znojemská and Komenský Street. The Priory supply ramp will be moved. An "Avenue of Personalities" will be created, new water features and distinctively designed furniture will be installed.
